FAA announces radar contracts for new Air Traffic Control system

The U. S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration announced it will replace the country’s aging radar system and has awarded RTX and Indra to lead the initiative. FAA administrator Bryan Bedford said the FAA will replace the nation’s aging radar system of ground-based radars.
