MEMA, the Vehicle Suppliers Association, recently announced it has appointed Paul McCarthy as president and CEO. He replaces former president and CEO Bill Long,
McCarthy brings deep industry experience and a member-first mindset to the role, the organization said, and will position MEMA to navigate rapid transformation in vehicle technology, supply chains and public policy.
“MEMA’s leadership reflects both continuity and momentum,” Jon Husby, MEMA board of directors chairman, said. “Paul McCarthy and the senior leadership team bring the experience, credibility and urgency our industry needs right now. The board has full confidence in their ability to lead MEMA forward and deliver tangible value for vehicle suppliers.”
In October, MEMA announced Emily Poladian would be joining the organization as president.
Poladian previously spent 27 years at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, mostly recently as president. She was tasked with the company’s aftermarket business.
Others in senior leadership roles include President Collin Shaw, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Ana Meuwissen, and Chief Financial Officer Mike Blawas.
