STG Logistics, a transportation and logistics solutions provider, and Union Pacific Railroad recently announced an extended, long-term partnership.

The companies have working together to deliver goods and products to consumers for more than 30 years. The agreement will ensure continuity and excellence within the supply chain.

“We are extremely excited about this partnership,” Tyler Holtgreven, STG senior vice president of operations, said. “This new contract will help STG with our growth trajectory while continuing a relationship that reflects our values and our vision for the future of intermodal.”

“We are proud of the long and successful history we share with STG Logistics,” Kari Kirchhoefer, Union Pacific Railroad senior vice president of marketing and sales, said. “Our partnership is a reflection of our mutual commitment to providing safe, reliable and environmentally responsible service to our customers.”

Rail transportation offers customers cost-effective solutions for long-distance freight hauling.

Moving freight by rail reduces carbon emissions, making it an environmentally responsible option.

Union Pacific operates in 23 western states.
