PTL to operate Maine CSX TRANSFLO location

Pennsylvania-based Precision Terminal Logistics (PTL), a company providing shipping by rail, recently announced it will operate a CSX TRANSFLO location in Portland, Maine. TRANSFLO transloads bulk commodities between railcars and trucks.

“Our operation in Portland is an example of the deep collaboration we have with the team at TRANSFLO,” David Kearney, PTL CEO said. “We take pride in delivering on the high-quality service standards set by TRANSFLO. We are also focused on being a transload operator that performs safely and responsibly for the various shippers we service in Portland.”

The TRANSFLO terminal is a multicommodity facility that serves a variety of shippers and commodities and provides access to new markets and customers via the CSX rail network and is conveniently located near I-95 and Route 202.. The facility features containerized waste-lift capability and a 110-car spot capacity.

This is the 12th TRANSFLO location PTL operates.
