Transportation company Bison Transport announced Tuesday it had signed an agreement with Canadian Pacific Kansas City to provide intermodal transportation services on CPKC’s north-south corridor connecting Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Access to CPKC’s Class-1 railways will enable Bison leverage both company’s reliability and dependability to provide its customer base with access to cross-border multimodal solutions, using CPKC rail corridors.

Bison officials said the growth of nearshoring manufacturing in Mexico gave rise to the company’s desire to provide its customers with cross-border business opportunities. The agreement, both companies said, will position them for to engage in parallel sustainability practices and meet long-term objectives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
