Sheer Logistics, a logistics and supply chain management solutions provider, recently named Joel Gard CEO and as a member of the board of directors.
Founding CEO Joe Egertson has assumed the role of Executive Chairman of the Board.

Prior to joining Sheer Logistics, Gard worked for American Commercial Barge Line where he built an internal 4PL/Managed Logistics platform for a marine transportation company. He also worked for Coyote Logistics, launching and leading the company’s European operations, and Xpress Technologies as president and U.S. Xpress as chief technology officer.
