Buffalo Grove, Ill.-based PPC Flexible Packaging LLC (PPC) announced Friday it had acquired Kansas City, Kan.-based Plastic Packaging Technologies, LLC. (PPT).
PPC, a leader in printing and converting innovative packaging designs, said the addition of PPT would increase to 13 its manufacturing facilities in Buffalo Grove, Ill.; Mission and Kansas City, Kan.; Rome, Ga.; Payson, Utah; Pewaukee, Wis.; Colombia, South America; McKinney, Texas; Columbus and Alliance, Ohio; North Salt Lake, Utah; and Hartland, Wis.
Founded in the 1970s by acquired by David and Dan Staker in 2002, PPT is an industry leader in delivering flexible packaging solutions. PPT products include up to 11-color high-definition printed roll stock films, high barrier laminations, and an array of pre-made pouch formats. The company employs 425 associates in facilities in Kansas City, Kan., and Columbus, Ohio.

Officials with PPT said they were excited to join forces with PPC.
