National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) launched last week the Dealership Lifeline Series to aid dealerships during the current COVID-19 crisis.
The initiative seeks to assist dealerships in navigating business and regulations in the coronavirus environment via a collection of webinars, white papers, reports, best practices, and blog posts in NADA’s Coronavirus Hub.
Topics include, but are not limited to, The Families First Coronavirus Response Act; The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act); The Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act; cash flow management; expense reduction; and dealerships service and parts departments as essential business.
NADA officials said the series provides timely information about coronavirus developments impacting dealership operations while also lending guidance on how dealers can manage their operations accordingly.
NADA represents all franchised new-car dealers — domestic and import — before Congress, federal agencies, the media, and the general public, and provides education and guidance on regulatory matters. The organization also represents dealers’ interests with automobile and truck manufacturers and offers extensive training programs to improve dealership business operations, sales, and service practices.
Webinars would be presented live as soon as available, but will also be recorded and made available on-demand on the Coronavirus Hub.
