On-demand packaging company Packsize announced Monday it was partnering with Paccurate, and announced it would launch an “Easy-Close” feature to add to on-demand packaging that will simply returns.
The partnership with Paccurate, the company said, will combine Paccurate’s cartonization technology with Packsize’s on-demand packaging equipment, allowing shippers to increase efficiency. The company said the collaboration will optimize cubic volume and minimizing waste and transportation costs, marking a step forward in cost-effective and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
Paccurate customers will be allowed to use PacSimulate to identify opportunities to use Packsize’s on-demand packaging technology. Additionally, Packsize users can enhance their Warehouse Management System (WMS) cartonization with Paccurate’s API, which generates box sizes for right-sized packaging machines.

The company also said had launched Easy-Close for its X7 on-demand packaging machines, an innovative feature designed to improve the customer returns process while supporting sustainability goals. The Easy-Close adds an adhesive strip to packaging for easy package reclosure which promotes reusability and minimizes waste.
