American Trucking Associations (ATA) and DriverFacts, a leading provider of compliance solutions for the trucking industry, recently announced the renewal of their ATA Featured Product Provider agreement.

DriverFacts, a web-based system designed to streamline management of driver records, allows for secure, efficient and customized employee data solutions, which increases driver efficiencies and decreases operational costs.

“From helping to provide the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration with industry feedback on a national drug and alcohol clearinghouse rule, to encouraging skills-based driver training requirements, ATA continues to help trucking companies improve their safety performance, ” ATA President and CEO Chris Spear said. “We understand the importance of maintaining accurate employment data and are confident that DriverFacts’ mission is aligned with our own.”

Services provided by DriverFacts include automated responses to incoming work history verification requests from prospective employees, efficient and compliant management of driver drug and alcohol testing to accelerate the pre-employment process, and a DriverPortal that automates driver requests for corrections and rebuttals to information appearing on their work history reports.

“Like ATA, our goal is to improve efficiency and profitability within the industry while maintaining a primary focus on safety,” Dave Widly, president and CEO of DriverFacts, said. Our solutions improve processes within safety, HR and recruiting departments, and our data and reporting capabilities can help management and leadership make informed decisions that improve operations across their company. DriverFacts continues to evolve with our customers to provide them with the tools they need to thrive.”
