The Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division (AZ MVD) recently launched an upgraded ServiceArizona.com website.

The state added the AZ MVD Now portal to the website, that allows drivers to create personalized accounts to manage their MVD needs. The portal allows users to view all vehicles titled and/or registered, read full title details, confirm the vehicle is eligible for transfer, issue a prepaid voucher, and fund their account. Later this year, users will be able to transfer titles online.

Arizona is the first state to offer these services online. The service is part of Gov. Doug Ducey’s Arizona Management System aimed at transforming how the state government does business and interacts with residents. Ducey wants to make Arizona the top state to live, work, visit, do business, or get an education.

“AZ MVD Now works like having an account with an online retailer,” MVD Director Eric Jorgensen said. “This will revolutionize how people do business with MVD much like people’s shopping habits have been transformed by the internet. This will open the door to maximize the number of MVD transactions done online. Right now, that number is a little more than half, but eventually, most will be available through AZ MVD Now.”
