The American Trucking Association (ATA) recently announced it will renew a featured product agreement with EROAD for use of its electronic compliance, tax, safety and fleet management services.
EROAD’s electronic logging device (ELD) works by automatically recording a driver’s hours of service data, including time logged per status category, available drive, and on-duty hours. The vertically-integrated software is registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and verified by third parties.
“We are very pleased to join the featured product program for a second year and to fully support the ATA and the transportation industry,” Norm Ellis, president of EROAD, said. “We look forward to working closely with ATA members to further enhance our technology platform to meet their compliance and operational needs.”
The platform consists of an in-vehicle device, bank-grade payment gateway, and a cloud-based portal, all of which is developed with scalable technology for future updates.
EROAD is currently the only service that offers compliant ELD devices, electronic international fuel tax agreement (IFTA) and international registration plan (IRP) filing, and fleet management services in one platform.
“Being able to produce technology that can reliably manage your company’s electronic compliance, tax, safety and fleet management needs can greatly benefit the efficiency of your operations,” Chris Spear, ATA president and CEO, said. “We are excited to announce that EROAD is continuing its relationship with ATA to promote a safer and more efficient industry.”
