Three United Airlines executives given extended roles

Three members of United Airlines’ executive leadership team recently were given expanded roles in an attempt to improve customer experience.

“The expanded roles we announced today further strengthen United’s world-class leadership team,” United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz said. “We are in a better position than ever to serve our customers, lead our employees, and achieve our goal of building the world’s best airline.”

Brett Hart was executive vice president and general counsel. His new title is executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel. He current leads United’s community, corporate real estate, corporate security, government and regulatory affairs, and legal teams and now also will oversee global communications.

Linda Jojo, executive vice president and chief information officer, is now executive vice president, technology and chief digital officer. She currently is in charge of United’s technology platforms and analytics. Her new responsibilities include development, strategy, and deployment of United’s commercial web platforms, e-commerce, and mobile app.

Andrew Nocella, executive vice president and chief revenue officer, assumes the position of executive vice president and chief commercial officer. He will take on marketing and MileagePlus in addition to his current duties overseeing network, commercial and pricing and revenue management strategy.
