Isabelle Courville, Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) board of directors chairwoman, retired, effective immediately, and was succeeded by Gordon Trafton.
Courville joined the board in May 2013 and became chairwoman on May 7, 2019. She is the first woman to lead the board of directors of a Class 1 railway.
Courville was active for more than 25 years in the energy and telecommunications sectors. She led the Audit Committee from 2014 to 2016 and served as Management, Resources and Compensation Committee chairwoman.

Trafton joined the board of directors in 2017 and was appointed vice-chairman of the board on Jan. 28 as part of ongoing succession planning. He spent 33 years in the railroad industry, retiring from Canadian National in 2010.
