The New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) is seeking two providers each for Above the Wing Ground Handling Services and Below the Wing Ground Handling Services.
Wing Ground Handling Service Providers support guests. Their responsibilities include guest and baggage check-in, boarding and flight escort services, meeting arriving flights, assisting passengers in the re-check area, assisting during irregular operations, and operating the Baggage Service Office.
Wing Ground Handling Services Providers provide service management solutions. Their responsibilities include providing fully trained and experienced labor service, and facilitating safe, smooth, and efficient operations for customer airlines, passengers, service providers, and other stakeholders.
“As we take another critical step in our journey to create a world-class terminal, we are seeking innovative partners who share our vision of delivering an extraordinary guest experience,” Marisa Von Wieding, The New Terminal One vice president of operations, said. “The selected providers will be instrumental in setting new standards for airport operations and maintaining the New Terminal One’s position as a global leader in the aviation industry.”
Proposals are due by March 26.
The New Terminal One is being built in phases. The first phase is scheduled to open next year. The entire complex will be completed in 2030.
