Ohio-based Total Quality Logistics (TQL), the second-largest freight brokerage in North America, recently announced it will open a new office in Huntsville, Ala.
The new location will be located in Cummings Research Park, the second-largest research park in the United States, and will expand the company’s presence in Alabama.
“We’re thrilled to expand our team and strengthen our ties in Alabama through the tremendous Huntsville community,” TQL President Kerry Byrne said. “We chose Huntsville for its accessibility and considerable pool of talent. We’re excited to be part of this city while building on our 10-year presence in the state.”
Huntsville serves a region of more than 1.3 million people. The area includes many diverse industries including advanced manufacturing, integration, and technology development.
The selection also reaffirms TQL’s commitment to Alabama’s business environment and work force.
The project will create 100 entry-level sales positions.
TQL opened an office in Mobile in 2014 and one in Birmingham in 2016. It has been recognized nine times as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Alabama.
