Wyoming Transportation Commission awards $12.5M in construction contracts for road, bridge work

The Wyoming Transportation Commission recently awarded five Wyoming Department of Transportation construction projects nearly $12.5 million in contracts.

Lovell-based Mountain Construction Co. was awarded a $5.71 million bid for a project on approximately 5.7 miles of US Highway 26 near Riverton in Fremont County. The contracted completion date is Oct. 31, 2025, and work includes asphalt paving, aggregate surfacing, grading, chip seal and traffic control.

Avail Valley Construction-WY was awarded nearly $2.81 million for a project on approximately 0.7 mile on County Road 126/Strawberry Creek Road in Lincoln County. The contracted completion date is Oct. 31, 2025, and work includes aggregate surfacing, asphalt paving, and grading.

S & S Builders was awarded $2.45 million for a bridge rehabilitation project in Campbell, Crook and Johnson counties. The contracted completion date is Oct. 31, 2025, and work includes asphalt paving, and structural work.

Oftedal Construction was awarded $809,268 for damage repair projects on US Highway 16 near the city of Buffalo in Johnson County. The contract completion date is May 16, 2025.

Oftedal Construction was awarded $712,963 for an Americans with Disabilities Act upgrade project in the town of Kemmerer in Lincoln County. The contract completion date is June 30, 2025.
