Miami-based I Squared Capital, an independent global infrastructure manager, recently purchased Wisconsin-based WOW Logistics, a supply-chain service provider, for an undisclosed amount.
“WOW Logistics is a great example of a family-owned business that has served its customers with excellence for decades,” Gautam Bhandari, I Squared Capital, chief investment officer and managing partner, said. “The company is a valued local employer and an active member of the communities where it operates. We are proud to partner with WOW to execute on our shared vision for growth while maintaining the company’s legacy as a dedicated partner to its customers.”
I Squared Capital employs more than 215 people in offices in seven countries. It has more than $38 billion in assets under management and has invested in a diverse portfolio of 72 companies in 59 countries.
WOW Logistics offers services in five areas: supply chain consulting, operations, real estate development, inventory financing, and technology solutions. The company has 25 facilities located in five states. Warehouse space totals 223 million cubic feet, including 47 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled space.
The purchase allows WOW to modernize its storage infrastructure, boost energy efficiency, enhance and expand their warehouse network, and improve operational resiliency to meet customers and other non-dairy protein producers’ demand.
