The Wyoming Transportation Commission recently awarded nearly $26.6 million in contracts
for seven Wyoming Department of Transportation construction projects.
Federal money primarily funds the projects. Projects averaged more than two bids, and the contracts were awarded to the lowest bidder.
Knife River was awarded a $4.6 million bid for work on almost 10.5 miles of U.S. Highway 20/26 in Fremont and Natrona counties.
High Country Construction was awarded an $821,079 bid for work on about 3.5 miles of U.S. Highway 287 in Fremont County.
Advanced Electrical Contracting was awarded an $824,378 bid for electrical work, paving, sidewalk, and other work on approximately 0.10 mile of U.S. Highway 30/287 in Albany County. The company also was awarded a $359,266 bid for a project for electrical work at the intersection of Wyoming Highway 212 and Wyoming Highway 219.
Avail Valley Construction-WY was awarded a $6.37 million bid for combined projects on almost 20 miles of highway in Sweetwater and Uinta counties.
Reiman Corp. was awarded a $10.2 million bid for work on almost 1.5 miles of Wyoming Highway 433 in Washakie County.
Intermountain Slurry Seal was awarded a $3.3 million bid for a project involving paving and other work in various locations in Albany, Carbon and Laramie counties.
