New Jersey-based Railroad Construction Co. (RCC), a construction and engineering services company, recently announced two leadership changes. The changes represent confidence in the future and the strength of the company’s legacy, RCC said.
Al Daloisio, Jr. became CEO Emeritus on Monday following more than 40 years as CEO. Under his leadership, the company experienced tremendous growth and transformation. Daloisio will continue to serve as board of directors chairman.
Jack Tobin became CEO. He has decades of industry experience and a deep understanding of RCC’s culture and values.
“His leadership, experience and commitment to RCC’s culture and values make him the ideal person to help guide the company into its next century,” the company said in a statement.
Tobin is the first non-Daloisio family member in the company’s history to lead RCC. He has had an integral role in the company’s growth, operations and continued success in the rail and heavy civil construction industries.
“This transition also reflects the thoughtful succession planning and strong foundation built by generations of Daloisio family leadership since RCC was founded in 1926,” the company said. “Please join us in congratulating Jack as he takes on this historic leadership role and helps lead RCC into its next century as a 100 percent co-worker-owned company.”
