On Thursday, robotics and warehouse automation solutions leader Addverb announced it would be partnering with DHL Supply Chain to implement robots and software as a way to maximize throughput.
Addverb said the partnership involved 52 sorting robots and an Addverb software solution to help DHL Supply Chain distribution facility in Columbus, Ohio increase efficiency. Integrating the sortation solution, Addverb said, helped the Columbus distribution center see a more than marked increase in throughput and efficiency.

Our project timelines, requirements and deliverables have all been met by Addverb, and it has allowed us to realize an over 300 percent increase in throughput capability at the Columbus, Ohio site, without having to add more staff to the team,” Don Sweeney, DHL Columbus Facility General Manager.
Addverb’s core offering include fixed and flexible solution that allow it clients to integrate efficient and scalable automation systems. Its enterprise software provides clients with the ability to integrate and leverage various warehouse management layers throughout their warehouse distribution operation.
